When you book accommodations or services at Balay, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation. A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation, which may be done securely through our website at the time of booking.

By completing your reservation, you agree to accept the conditions and charges associated with the rate you have selected. Please refer to our Privacy Notice for information on data collection and usage practices.

Privacy Notice

We prioritize the safety and privacy of our guests. The information you provide is essential for processing and confirming reservations and may include creating a personal profile. This information may be used to:

  • Contact you in case of reservation changes
  • Create a profile for future bookings
  • Notify you via email of relevant special offers or promotions if you consented during registration

Your information may be shared with contractual partners, such as banks or service providers, and may be disclosed when legally required.

Reservation Procedure

Reservations should be made in writing via our website reservation form or by email. Complete all details, including the number of guests, nationality, and age.

Our reservation team will respond to inquiries within 24 hours. If you do not receive a response, please contact us at [email protected].

Upon availability, we will provide details of the suite, rates, and payment instructions to finalize your reservation. Availability may change at any time, especially during peak seasons, so prompt confirmation is recommended.

Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation containing reservation details, including check-in/out dates and payment information.

Confirmed Bookings

All bookings are held for the arrival and departure dates confirmed, at the agreed rate. Full payment is required prior to arrival. Guests must meet these conditions to confirm a reservation:

  • Be of legal age
  • Provide accurate booking details
  • Use their own credit card with sufficient funds to cover costs

Failure to meet these requirements may result in cancellation. Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a Confirmation Letter via email.

Minimum Stay

A minimum stay of two nights is required for bookings made from November 21, 2024, onward, and during peak periods. Changes to reservations that do not meet minimum stay requirements may be refused. Early check-out for minimum stay bookings is non-refundable.

Payment

Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Bookings will only be processed and confirmed once payment is successfully completed. Without payment, the booking process will not proceed, and no booking will be held.

Rates and Price Information

Rates can be verified on our website, balaybali.com. Rates are subject to change without notice based on seasonality, availability, and special offers.

Prices must be paid in United States Dollar (USD), and surcharges may apply during peak periods.

Amendments or Cancellation / No Show Policy

All cancellations and amendments must be requested in writing via [email protected], including your booking date, name, and booking number. We will try to accommodate changes, subject to management approval.

Cancellation Fees:

  • More than 10 days before check-in: 0% forfeited (full refund)
  • 10 days before check-in: 50% forfeited
  • 3 days before check-in: 100% forfeited
  • No Show or Day-of Cancellation: 100% forfeited

Refunds for Credit Card Payments

Credit card refunds will be issued after transaction verification. Cancellations or shortened stays are non-refundable.

Force Majeure

Balay Bali is not responsible for cancellations or shortened stays due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, epidemics, government actions). Rebooking may be allowed within six months, subject to availability and peak season price adjustments.

Security Deposit for Damages

A security deposit of IDR 2,500,000 per suite is required at check-in. This deposit, payable by cash or credit, will be refunded after check-out inspection. Any damages to the suite will be deducted from this deposit.

Responsibility

We are not liable for loss or damage to personal items during your stay. Delays, additional costs, or inconveniences due to events beyond our control (e.g., flight delays, weather) are also outside our responsibility.

Swimming Pool Area

Use of the pool is at your own risk. Glassware is not allowed in the pool area.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas. Violation will result in full forfeiture of the security deposit for cleaning and fumigation.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in any part of the property. Evidence of pets will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit.

Drugs & Hazardous Materials

Guests are prohibited from bringing illegal substances, flammable materials, or dangerous items onto the property.

Liability

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers illness, injury, loss, damage, or cancellations. Balay Bali is not liable for any unused accommodation or services, nor for any damage, loss, or injury occurring during a stay.

Other Rules

Our suites are located in a residential area; noise restrictions apply. Unapproved gatherings or excessive noise may lead to eviction without refund.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indonesian law, and any disputes shall be resolved within Indonesia.
